Hotel Sacher is famous for its connection with the Salzburg Festival. Max Reinhardt, Hugo von Hofmannsthal, and Richard Strauss have stayed here, along with some of the more well-known heads of Europe. The bridge embellished with love padlocks is the pedestrian-only Makartsteg.
