This statue rears its head in the center of the Karajan-Platz, an area that once housed the court stables. The handsome water well/pond around it is the work of the busy Baroque artist, Johann Bernhard Fischer von Erlach. But the sculpture – the “Horse Tamer” – is courtesy of Michael Bernhard Mandl.
